Rocking to the car part beat

I have recently been working as arranger and composer on a project using instruments made from parts of a Ford Focus. Among the pieces being played on these remarkable instruments is a charity single called ‘Six O’ Clock’. It was recorded at ex-Genesis star Mike Rutherford’s studio in Surrey. Performers on the track included Rutherford and Kenney Jones of the Who. You can hear the song and donate to the Teenage Cancer Trust at www.sundaytimes.co.uk/carparts - you can also watch a ‘making of’ video.

Glasgow - The Old Fruitmarket, Thursday 24th April - Saturday 26th April

Liverpool - St George's Hall, Friday 9th May - Sunday 11th May
